Alphaex Capital

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 09 December 2025

If you're researching privacy, this guide explains the essentials in plain language. Alphaex Capital ("we", "us", "our") provides educational content for traders across forex, crypto, and stocks. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you interact with alphaexcapital.com . We do not require accounts to read content and we avoid collecting direct identifiers unless you choose to provide them (e.g., by contacting us). We do not run a newsletter or surveys at this time.

1. Data we collect

  • Contact details you provide : name, email, and message contents when you submit a form or contact us. Used only to respond to your enquiry.
  • Pseudonymised technical data : IP address (shortened/hashed) and approximate region captured for security, fraud prevention, and legal recordkeeping (e.g., GDPR consent evidence). These details are not used to identify you.
  • Usage data : pages visited, links clicked, and device/browser information captured in server or security logs to keep the site reliable.
  • Monetization signals : ad delivery metrics and affiliate link clicks captured by partners for attribution. We do not collect payment details directly; donations are processed by Stripe (see "Services we use") and payment data stays on Stripe's systems.

We do not seek to collect special category data or precise geolocation, and we do not sell personal data.

2. How we use data

  • Respond to enquiries you send us and provide the content or support you requested.
  • Personalize article recommendations and surface relevant categories.
  • Measure campaign performance for our advertisers and affiliate partners (aggregated where possible).
  • Maintain platform security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal requests. IP addresses are pseudonymised and only retained as required for these purposes.

3. Legal bases

We process personal data on the following bases under UK & EU GDPR:

  • Consent for cookies and similar technologies.
  • Legitimate interests to provide and protect the site, ensure service reliability (including CDN and security tooling), and deliver monetized placements you choose to view.
  • Legal obligation to maintain limited records (such as pseudonymised IP and consent logs) where regulators require it.

4. Services we use and data sharing

We share data only with trusted processors who help run the site. Each partner is bound by data-processing terms and cannot sell your information.

  • Cloudflare CDN & security : Delivers our content, mitigates DDoS/bot traffic, and caches assets. Cloudflare processes IP addresses, User-Agent, and threat indicators to filter malicious requests. Logs are held by Cloudflare per their retention schedules and are used only to keep the site available and secure.
  • Google Analytics : We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our site. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the site. The cookies collect information in a way that does not directly identify anyone, including the number of visitors to the site and blog, where visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited.
  • Email transport (contact only) : When you email us or submit a contact form, your message and email address are used solely to respond and are not added to marketing lists.
  • Stripe payments (donations) : We use Stripe to process voluntary donations on our support page. Stripe collects and stores your payment card details, billing address, email, and device/fraud indicators to complete the transaction. Payment data is sent directly to Stripe; we only view receipts and limited transaction metadata inside Stripe for reconciliation and do not store card details on our servers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details of their processing.
  • Advertising networks : Serve ads, frequency-cap impressions, detect fraud, and report aggregated performance.
  • Affiliate platforms : Track outbound clicks to partners you choose to visit; they may drop their own cookies for attribution.

Outbound links to third-party websites (including affiliate offers) take you to sites with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those before providing information.

5. International transfers

Servers may reside outside the UK/EU. When this happens we rely on adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or partner-specific safeguards.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary to provide services or meet legal obligations. If you contact us, we retain messages only for as long as needed to resolve your enquiry and meet compliance requirements, then delete or archive them securely. Cookie consent records are stored for 12 months, after which you will be asked to reconfirm. Donation transaction records remain in Stripe to satisfy accounting and fraud-prevention duties; we do not store payment card data locally.

7. Your rights

If you are in the UK/EU (or similar jurisdictions) you can:

  • Request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
  • Object to legitimate-interest processing or lodge a complaint with the ICO.

Contact us via to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies & tracking

Cookies help us understand site usage, remember preferences, and deliver ads. We log pseudonymised IP and location data with our CDN and consent tool strictly for security, fraud prevention, and proof of GDPR consent. Cookie choices are stored for 12 months. Visit our Cookie Policy for a detailed breakdown and opt-out options.

9. Children

Our content targets adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a minor provided data, email us so we can remove it.

10. Submit a GDPR request

Use the secure form below to exercise your rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data. We may request additional verification before fulfilling the request.

Submitting opens your own email client with the details; nothing sends automatically. We respond within 30 days and will confirm receipt via email.

11. Updates

We review this policy regularly. Material changes will be announced via on-site banners. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
